Seems like dining at Pokok cafe like the in trend. Pokok is located inside Mahsa University in PJ. The big hype on this cafe is that you are dining in a glass house. Therefore do prepare to get warm and enjoy some sun tanned while dining.
It depends on which table you are being seated as it could be very warm.
Ordering of food is at the counter and pay there.
Menu offering is pretty direct from local to western.
Since it is brunch, I tried their Avo Maverick, more like a vegetarian dish @ RM 18. Topped with poached egg, 2 slices of bread, sauteed mushroom with bed of veggies.
Since alot people order Nasi Lemak and was told Nasi lemak @ RM 18 here is good.
The chicken was under cook by 3-5 minutes then we request to changed. Understand they want to get the best texture out of it yet the meat on the bone still stuck on it yet with light blood.
coffee Latte is decent for RM 10 hot and RM 11 for cold.
Cafe food here is just normal, as I was told the food here is very good. Find that the food is bland and not as outstanding as was told by a few of my friends.
Will I be returning back? I guess there are much better cafe food for the price I am paying, as the only thing is dining in a glass house.
