Every time when people mention Yong Taufu, its gonna be at Ampang, as it is not always true that have to be there, one of my friend had recommend me famous Wah Kiow Hakka Yong Taufu which famous around this neighborhood is located at off Peel Road at Cheras nearby Jusco Maluri that the dish is prepared under a wooden house with hot iron zink as the rooftop.
Wah Kiow had been operate around the area for around 10 years and people around there just keep going on back. All their ingredients are prepared and fried pippin hot from the wok which mostly operate by elderly.
The place is so hot till I walk in, it feels like we are in an big oven and there are a lot of people smack in this small wooden place.
Variety of yong taufu to choose from.
One of the dish my friend love to order is the Asam Fish. Served hot, and the asam curry is just nice to eat along with rice, not too sour, yet the spiciness level did not overpower it.
Here comes all our selection .. . . .
I just love their ‘Fried Sui Kow’
The price is quite reasonable for such a portion that we took and I sure do not mind to revisit this place again.
It is advice sable to avoid coming here during weekday lunch time as it is sardine packed with people or if you do, do visit this place early.
