Soong Kee Beef Noodle in Jalan Tun Hs.Lee have a good history of operating this place for more than 40 years. Currently helm by his second generation successor, what I was told that taste is still the same.
One of the place that visited by many regulars since when they are kids till now or even serving second generation of their customer too.
A comfort food that many will return again and again. Menu is pretty direct as they have mixture of noodle and porridge.
Soong Kee Beef Noodles is famous for their signature Triple Noodle (dry) @ RM 7. Springy noodle, mix with their home special mince meat sauce that coated in dark thick sauce is something that you would not want to miss. Serve a long is a small bowl of multiple spare parts of beef.
Love their clear soup as is something simple and hearty. A place that satisfy your tummy with a very affordable price.
If you are a soup base lover then do try their Triple Noodle Soup. Soup colour is total different and how I wish that I could have the dry version and the soup base of this soup. It taste more flavorful.
besides that, after had 1 of the beef ball, it was chewy and springy to my liking. So ordered a bowl @ RM 8 to share.
Not a bad place for beef noodle as I think this is better than another at Pudu. Will certainly be back again for the night porridge. Also just found out that, Soong Kee Beef Noodles also operate in Lot 10 Hutong. I consider this is one of the better ones compare to others. To some of you might be the best beef noodle in KL.
I have also tried Shin Kee Beef Noodle which is just 2 streets away. Both is quite different. But which do you guys prefeR?
Looking for a parking spot over here can be a huge nightmare as they are one way street and if you miss one turning, you have to make 1 big round.
