I guess after Rain make the first hit wave of Korean hitz music then it slow down, not until PSY appear to make the whole industry another big bang worldwide. Since then Korean fever is every where, with drama, music and food popping up alot in Klang Valley and Seoul Scape Bistro is one of the latest addition in Kota damansara area.
One of the location that my friend brought me to is this little cute area Seoul Scape Bistro that operate by a few young college chaps that offer home made comfort food.
Located nearby the Strand, Kota Damansara, this outlet is not easy to locate as its operating on the first floor.
this place is pretty unique as you walked up the stairs, you will be greeted with cute paintings on the wall that lead you up to the entrance.
Welcome to this little bistro, as they do not have a door knob, what you need to do is just push the door. .
The place is decorated more like a typical cafe more like a family run business. Alot of elements in there are used to reflect more Korean culture household items. The background music and tv also playing all the latest hitz of K-pop that make it truly like you are in Korea.
If you would want to chill in this area, they have Korean magazines and some comic book for you to read along.
I like how they did up the menu book, which is like a little girl cut and paste all her favourite item then glue in one book.
I was highly recommended by my friend just to order this dish only, which is Jeuksuk Ddeokbokki (2-3 pax) @ RM 30.00
IT serve along with some of their complimentary side dish . .
This pot is pretty huge pot even for 3 person as the owner is very generous with ingredients such as sausages, veggie, chicken meat and a few more item. Every scoop is filled with ingredients. The friendly owner would ask you, which level of spicy would you prefer, as we ordered medium spicy. The taste is pretty good for such outlet, as its sour enough and medium spicy is just right to add in the kick. I would just prefer mine to be a little more spicy then it would have been perfect. Just that my friend could not take too spicy so we abort that.
Surely this would be another great hangout place and with friendly owner. Do not put high expectation on the food then you will enjoy the meal there as they are price much lower compare to many other outlets out there.
