Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Review

There is already a huge buzz going on for Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and I have seen many people jumping ship. Good or bad it always depends on the user preference. As for me, this round I get a chance to review this unit and find out more about Note2 which some of my friends already having it, some is their Christmas wishlist and some is waiting for their bf to give them as a gift. . lol`

First thing first, I own Samsung Galaxy Note 1 and its a good comparison for me and of course is the camera function that I love alot. Need my phone camera to act as 2nd camera to me whenever I do not bring my camera along. Its pretty impressive as seen like S3 with its burst shots. Along with:

• 8 Megapixel Auto Focus Camera with LED Flash, BSI
• Sub (Front) : 1.9 Megapixel VT Camera, BSI
• Best Photo, Best Face, Low light shot

These are all pictures taken with Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and for a phone quality, I totally have no complain . . Over the weekend, when me and my friends dine at Ben’s then I take the opportunity to test on the camera. 🙂 Capturing back at my own gadget Samsung Smart Camera NX 210 is pretty impressive.

Even with close shots the detail of it still can be seen. Of course cant compare to a actual camera, or any digital that act purely for photograph purpose.

Cakes in the fridge taken is how ever something similar to my another digital camera just that some are a bit burst in white.

Overall of the camera function I love it, and for girls is definitely important as they love to camwhore. . :p

Comparing in terms of Note 1 and Note 2, what are the difference:

As you can see in the comparision above, Note 2 are using Jelly Bean 4.1 platform already. Screen resulution of course is much better and performance of this phone is definitely better.

Even the S-pen are slightly different as Note 2 its longish and slightly fatter. Overall grip, I find Note 1 is better as it doesnt feel so much plastic.

Note 2 S Memo now have more variety to choose from, with more paper background and easy detection. One thing I am impress is the beam that generate out from the pen before touching on the screen.

Look at the picture above with the pen is about 5 cm away, Air View like creating a transparent lazer sensor that automatically beam it out making it a preview for both popup Note and Popup video on the folder for you to choose. Its less than a second which is pretty impressive, with its upgrade version of S Pen (Advanced smart pen).

For many artist, people who love to draw, take notes this is very convenient as you can just slid out the S-pen and start sketching your way.

Evolving of Samsung phone since Samsung Galaxy S3, S-beam file transferring is just a touch away and its so fast, first time using it for a file with 500kb. .

Overall, to those who are considering getting Note 2, here are my favourite on this device:

1) Faster performance and better screen quality, perfect size of 5.5 and slightly slimmer and bigger compare to my Note.

2) Love its 8mb camera which is totally so much different compare to my Note 1 Camera even though both is 8mb (lag and slow, quality quite a huge difference)

3) Smarter function of S-Pen

4) I am very very impressive with its Standard battery, Li-ion 3,100mAh that last very long with heavy usage compare to my Note. Without turning on data, it can last about 3 days.

I have seen this phone have become a good phone to many mature people as because it can zoom in easily, numbers and text are bigger for them to see.

Its a nice phone to own as for me I shall wait for Note 3. . :p
