Ru Di Fook Noodle Bar 如狄福 is one of a restaurant that I saw many people blogged about and also instagrammer do post alot. Many said that this is the most “atas” wan tan mee stall that you could find and I could’nt agree more. Street food that take a notch up.
Love the ambiance of this place, is like modern Hong Kong downtown refurbish hidden joint. Reason of a noodle bar, as they do offer cocktails and alcohol too.
Like how they play with the menu in a comic version. Cleverly done.
Find that their cocktail promotion are decently price too.
For a noodle bar, their cocktail presentation is quite spot on. This is Luo Han Guo @ RM 23.80 and another is Ji Jua Thai @ RM 18.80. I am not a big cocktail fan, but I have to say, I am impress with both of the cocktail quality which raise above my expectation. Well balance flavour profile and quite playful flavour which is not overpowering each other.
For first timer, a noodle is a must since it is their signature and try out a rice too.
their signature instagram wall.
Wan tan noodle is cook to perfection where it is springy and delicious. Portion is like kopitiam big wantan mee. Serve with both fried wantan and soupy wantan.
Rice which is presented like a don. Taste was above my expectation too. turns out to be good, as the pork is well season, cook till so soft that easily break, serve along with fried tofu and top with seaweed. A perfect simple bowl of don.
Price wise is indeed atas wantan mee and for such servings, it is slightly overprice. Would I come back, yes. Do not mind to come back again for another round.
