Restoran Win Heng Seng (永兴城茶室) at Jalan Imbi used to be one of my favourite kopitiam. It has been long time since I last visited this place as I brought my parents to come again during Raya and guess what, This kopitiam is a warzone. Little did I know that they are now so famous that most of the tourist from others states are all in this place. Imagine that.
In this coffee shop, I have 2 of my favourite stalls are here which is this Instant cook Pork Noodle (which is quite similar to Penang) and another classic pork noodle which is well known for their sausage base.
This is another famous Pork Noodle stall with average waiting time on that day was 45 minutes, which marks them pretty crazy.
For this bowl of noodle, alot of diners would order dry as that is their signature as they will serve another small bowl of ingredients that filled with pork balls and sausage.
This is the classic instant cook Pork Noodle that include many pork spare part to cook along. It used to be one of my all time favourite as their pork broth they cook for a few hours to use it as the soup base to cook on the noodle. I guess on that day, they are too busy as customors keep pouring in like crazy. I guess their QC also went off. Average waiting time for this on that day was also 45 minutes.
While waiting for the main item to come, I try on a few new players is the Sarawak Kolo Noodle. It taste quite off the mark from my understanding and you can forget ordering it.
Wat Attracted me to order the wonton noodle is the chef that preparing it was professionally dress up with chef uniform in a kopitiam environment is pretty interesting. Noodles turn out to be not bad as Char Siew if he could improve more, he would enjoy even better exposure.
Wonton is fresh where mince meat and other ingredients is nice and soup broth is just nice yet not overpowering.
This kopitiam now had become commercialise already but as on weekdays, it is also a warzone where most of all the office workers around the area will flock into this place. NO doubht that this kopitiam have alot of offerings for anything within 5-10 minutes walk from both either Times Square or Bukit Bintang.
