After successful set up its stake in Klang, Pims Thai food have now expended to PJ area due to his regular demands. With this new expansion also comes with new concept where this outlet is known as Pims & The Rama – Real Thai Restaurant and Bar that located in Ara Suria. It is also one of my favourite Thai food place also finally open in PJ for just only about 2 months, serving classic Thai and some street food item. Klang outlet click here.
This new cafe is to set its food and position itself closer to its diners where understood that ambiance is quite important.
Outdoor seating area is quite spacious.
Their indoor seating area definately looks comfy. Looks like a modern setting of home, bar and a restaurant. A clever combination.
Not only that, to be more interactive with their customers, diners can now #pimsramathai at Instagram to get a picture printed out and also a voucher.
Sofa for drinking chilling area.
Private room to cater for family and birthday parties.
For interior, they do decorate some pictures and pieces of the Thai King.
Menu is quite extensive . . .
One of their new item and it is fried to perfection is Rama’s Beloved Fried Donut Prawns (Tod Man Gong) @ RM 18.90. Fresh mince meat with prawns and it is crispy and to dip with their chef special sauce is good! – recommended!
Love their Thai Ice Tea too as it is pretty solid and sweetness is just right for me @ RM 5.50. To be more classic street style then Thai Ice Red Soda is refreshing and a must in our current hot weather. @ RM 4.90
Cocktail not in the menu, but will be available soon.
As this was highly recommended by the manager is Deep fried fish. Whole fish fried to perfection where the head looks fine and meat is cut to a decent size where each piece of meat is a mouthful bite. Just sprinkle with some salt and their thai fish sauce to enhance the fresh fish flavour.
Their signature mini hotpot is one of a deal hunter where it is filled with squid, tiger prawns, eggs, thai roast pork, scallops, clamps just for RM 39.90 only. Below it, is filled with chef special made noodle.
Thai Otah Otah Seafood is also one of their specialty @ RM 25.50
If you love Thai Street food, then one of the item some of you could have try before is the Thai Style Yong Taufu in their special red pinky red soup base. This is a very authentic pot. Love the soup base that carry some sourish, sweetness and a base that gels well with the ingredient in it.
Noodle to end the mini Tomyum Hotpot!
If you are a classic street food lover, then their signature Pork Leg Rice is must order! Braised in long hours to get the skin smooth, shinning and meat that near melt in your mouth is something you could not ask for an item out from Thailand. @ Set lunch set only at RM 12.90
Tomyum Seafood @ RM 29.90 & Phad Thai is also good but their version is slightly sweet as Phad Thai varies from different region. It is like Char Koey Teow in Penang and KL is different. Personally, would consider this place as one of a better or best Thai Food in PJ.
