One of a famous place in Penang Cafe list is this Moustache Cafe that is pretty well known for their cool place to hang out and also their dessert and not to miss their unique trademark by using moustache to take pic with as you can see it thru many Instagramers or FB wall.
On that day itself I was suppose to go to this outlet then turns out to be close and they start operating at 4pm onwards thus I head to next door, Sugar Honey (click here) to try out and it turns out to be pretty good as they were the new player next to them. Then I went back at night to try out after heavy dinner.
To find a spot to park in this area is a pain in the ass as the carpark here is very limited and based on your luck.
I was told by my friend that this place is operate by two pretty girls.
The decoration of cafe is pretty nice as there are mural paintings and they use metal paip as one of their decoration cum book shelves . .
Got to know that their cake here is a must try and we ordered one piece to try off.
As you walk further back, the place is getting a little more private as there is a cute hang out area with wooden pallet that convert into a mini swing area which is nice spot to be hidden from the main crowd.
Tried their Mocha @ RM 11.90 if I am not mistaken. Not bad, just not my type of mocha flavour I prefer.
Latte as their milk is burn that did spoil their coffee taste.
One of a decent dish to pair back with the coffee as this Green Tea cake is a bomb. Flavorful, moist enough and the ingredient being used is pretty good. Pair back with their coffee is not bad and I will be coming back more for their coffee.
Overall if the coffee in Sugar Honey brings over to this place, then its a perfect combination as coffee over there taste better, in my own thought. 🙂
p/s: sorry I lost my Moustache photo ..
