Famous Pork Burger CrisTang @ 8 Avenue, PJ

P6 – RM30.80

When the burger was served, Kenji is cursing again, that eating with us cause a lot of trouble to him, that why everything have to eat so much and order so big portion but when the aroma of the burger stunk his nose, then he chase me to take photo faster, it smells so good.

Covered with sambal petai with mince pork, top with a slices of meat, bacon and cheese . . .

When Kenji cut the bread and just by biting the bread he was like . . . mmmmm. . . . hou sek, hou sek (taste very good) and he cut one piece each and chuck into our plate asking us faster try.  The bread was toast very crispy yet aromatic with butter spread, covered with a lil scent of the petai that makes it so good. The sambal petai paste that adds on as a dressing cannot be denied that, it had make the whole burger look very juicy, that did not overpower the aroma of bacon and cheese. It taste awesome!

P7 – The Urban Legend @ RM28.80

Next was when the legend had prove itself why it is the favorite or signature of the restaurant.

If you are a sambal petai lover, this would be the most perfect option to go for, even I hate the taste of it, but they had make the taste so good till I ignore it, as this selection, the aroma of sambal petai is stronger and abit more spicy which is why makes them the signature~ Me and Karen agree that this is better compare to the other one, but if you prefer mild version with very well blend taste, then P6 is good~

‘Nasi Lemak Goreng with Bacon and Chinese Sausage’ @ RM12.80

The name itself seriously caught our attention, we have quite often eat nasi lemak or nasi goreng but never both combine up yet with BACON and CHINESE SAUSAGE?! Its something really unique that we must try.

The fried nasi lemak is perfectly fried with wok hei, it’s a bit salty that we think its because of bacon and Chinese sausage but the aroma of the rice is superb, that you can taste all the ingredient perfectly and the mild spicy flavor did not over power all the flavors.

‘Hickory BBQ Ribs’ @ RM38

Last but not least the gigantic serving of the hickory ribs with 3 big slabs  . .  and Kenji’s eyes nearly pop out and he start to curse again as on that time after finishing the burger and fried rice he was at his limit.

We love the mash potato that had been blend so well, and soft till put into our mouth its like melting. . The pork ribs had been grill till the meat is soft and juicy while you cut through it, the bbq sauce that pour upon with ooze down and mix with it.

After finishing this, we had problem of walking . . . we park ourselves on the seat for some time only asked for bills.

Now only I understand why so many foodie recommend this place, yet we cannot denied that its one of the best place to have burgers  and we are looking forward to come again for second round.
