Went back to Penang over the Raya weekend that cost me 8 and half hours journey. Not going to pack with other people in the future and better stay put on where am I.
Back to Penang, what do you usually do? Food of course and its also a bit headache as everything you need to queue. Cafe hunting in Penang is also one of a bit hit at the moment. Of course when comes to this particular cafe, I am pretty confuse as the menu food description is in mandarin.
After Google only then realise that its a first franchise cafe in Malaysia, all the way from Taiwan, Cofffee Smith had made its mark in Taiwan and now had just landed in Penang that had been making a big buzz over the island that located in this new area, Maritime Piazza, Karpal Singh Drive.
Menu is pretty extensive as they serve fusion food and price wise is pretty decent.
I am quite impress with the whole interior where this is how a proper nice cafe looks like. A combination of contemporary design with wood elements, baggage, warehouse look is always something that I like in a cafe. According to my friend, average waiting in line is 30 minutes to wait for your table.
Hokkaido Scallops Cream Food @ RM 22
Stick Latte @ RM 10
Potted Coco @ RM 12
Classic Smith Coffee @ RM 19
Marshmellow Coco @ RM 19
Honestly, their drinks is pretty bad, for both their coffee and chocolate. BANNED all that. Food still pretty decent.
Its a great place for you if to be if you love concept cafe and comfy. Do not expect so much for their F&B here.
