Is stacking of bowl too old skol for you? Whenever there is a hype there is always another new version being cooked out. One of the latest hype or concept that my friend mention which is Big Spoon. Something similiar like Boat NOodle that instead of stacking up bowl, you will be stacking up big spoon as how the name came about.
Its new in the area and hype of this outlet is growing whereby you have to wait average of 30 minute. The outlet is located next to Tokyo Kitchen or nearby the TGV cinema building where you would not really miss it with people queuing up or sitting around the area.
Concept of Big Spoon is rather different as they serve Sze Chuan food. . .
Their interior is evolve on wood elements and bamboo tree are place around the area to give it some extra ambiance.. The menu is very straight forward as its all written in a plank of wood.
The two important ingredient sauces that make the noodle or dumpling taste much better, especially with the chili oil.
4 of us ordered 35 spoons with a mixture of noodle and dumpling. It turns out to be too much for us.
Cold Chicken noodle is the only item for noodle @ RM 1.90 and its serve cold as the word mention. We were like hmmm, cold? guess what. It turns out to be good.
This is how big the spoon is . . .
We were taught by the owner that we need to mix the 2 oil into it and of course the ma lat chili oil gives the extra kick of the flavour and we add in quite alot. Make it more Power! Love the texture of the noodle as its slight chewy, cold yet cook to perfection. Portion were pretty big and average of us can finish 4-5 spoon to make it quite full.
Dumpling in house Special Sauce @ RM 3.90 serve with 3 cute dumpling and do not look down on them.
Taste good too as the seasoning of meat and the mixture of it is well balance and of course the house special sauce makes it more delectable.
This is by far we can go for 4 of us, and totally very full.
Food is good and we are all satisfied. Now hope that they can open in my area which is PJ. Worth to go back for another round if the queue is not that long.

interesting concept to get ppl to challenge themselves to eat more, thus pay more? O.o
It’s pretty good, actually, although prices are somewhat steep given that you’ll probably need to eat at least 5 to be full. 🙂
