How I get to know this siau kia..? Get to know this crazy guy through my housemate. One thing that I really respect him was how he supported himself all the way from paying his own tuition fees, living expenses till he bought his own car. He studies engineering back in those days but work as a assistant chef as part time. When we on form, we would ask him cook for us and we assist as he really do cook good food. Our quote on that time was play hard never study hard! Lol~
We came back to Malaysia for good 3 years ago, and he decided to open a small restaurant shop when he came back. I still remember what he told me about his plan when he ventures into this industry and now he is slowly growing his empire and walking towards his dreams. His very first shop is still located at Megamall, Butterworth, this is the second branch and the 3rd branch is opening soon at middle of this month at Kulim industrial park same row as Secret Recepi there.
Now, his 2nd new restaurant is located strategically in Sunway Carnival that I would say one of a inn mall at Butterworth. In Penang, people are always hunting for something cheap and nice and being a lot of franchises available out in the market like O-Town, Kopitiam, Papa Rich yet I must say that, the food quality not only match the competitor but taste much better compare to what available in those shops. With the price tag charge on his food, what could you ask for more but only to enjoy.
With his own idea and design interior had created a great combination of ambiance and the food style which he is serving in the shop.
In this menu, the siau kia mention that its only 40% of the range that what he had in mind and we got a bit shock after hearing it but yet excited with the wide variety going to be available. Siau..its already so many choice available its like will take you half a month to try every food individually. His food range in this shop are the favourites based on customers favourite and feedback with improvise of taste that what he had done on his old shop.
We start off with a wide range of drinks with his recommendation that would be peoples favorite. ‘Fresh Carrot-Orange’ (RM3.50), ‘Mango Smoothies’ (RM5.50), ‘Wheatgrass Smoothies’ (RM5.50), ‘Peppermint Mocha’ (RM7.80), ‘Blueberry Chocolate’ (RM7.80), ‘Hazelnut Latte’ (RM7.80), ‘Almond Latte’ (RM7.80), and ‘Tiramisu’ (RM7.80). Look so delicious whereby if you did not eat this its a sin. ‘Honey Pepper Roast Chicken Drumlet’ The request were, fast fast take picture we cannot tahan and want to eat this.
