Pudu Chan Fatt Wanton Mee since 1955 is one of the oldest wanton mee that I have come across. Learn that, this wanton noodle stall is one of the famous stall in Pudu Market since 1950 – 1996. Currently is run by second generation Megan Wong whom is the youngest daughter. She has decided to come out from her retirement and persue her family legacy recipe by operating an outlet in Uptown Damansara.
She has been operating for about 1 year now and have build a strong regular over the months.
Price is very reasonable as for mains it starts from RM 7.
Char siew is done fresh every day . . . .
The first batch was sold out in the morning as they are preparing second batch for lunch crowd over the weekend. Most of the ingredient and items are prepare by the owner herself.
Lion Head Meatball Noodle is simple and direct. The meatball is not too dense, marinate to perfection and like the mouth texture of it. @ RM 8.50
Pudu Chan Fatt Wanton Mee classic best seller in the shop is their famous Char Siew Wanton Noodle @ RM 7.50. Love the lean and fats meat in between that give you a nice bite with little fats that melt in your mouth for biting pleasure. noodle is al dante and abit springy to my liking.
Curry Laksa with Chicken Noodle @ RM 7.50
Sui Kaw Noodle @ RM 8.50 is another item worth to consider as alternative. Serve along in 3 pieces of decent size sui kaw, and pack with generous ingredient in it.
The owner also come out with special menu with a little tweak of taste. Char Siew Burger pack with crispy potato fries and authentic home made sauce @ RM 12.90 is their second best selling item in the shop. as it might look as sinful as it could be, but each bite is quite interesting where their homemade sauce is rising up the unique taste of it. I love the bun though.
those that need rice, they do have their classic which is Roasted Duck rice @ RM 8.50
Then can order addtional siew yuk (small/Big) @ RM10/RM 20.
They got a very nice cut of siew yuk . . . Just look at the fats inbetween.
Besides that, many folks come here for breakfast for noodle and also their toast. Really depends on you.

Their homemade donut is above my expectations and turns out to be very good. Baked to perfection! Texture is nice where it is not too dense slight airy in between. One of a highly recommended item to finish your meal with. Not encourage to take away as ask the owner only can last within 10 minutes.
I am not too familiar with food pricing in the area, but for such pricing of Pudu Chan Fatt Wanton Mee in Uptown Damansara for a specialty shop, certainly worth to give it a try as I would put this place as one of my breakfast or lunch place.
