With the cheese roll craze hype on certain countries have certainly made it mouth watering dish to try on. Found that there is one cafe in Penang that serve this. I was introduce to Little Journey Man Cafe that located inside The Museum Hotel, Penang.
One of the early F&B residence in this area, they are still rather new and also believe that the cafe is operated by a group of friends.
Seating capacity in here is rather limited as when they are bombard with big groups, then only handful of tables left.
Their seating right in front of kitchen looks rather luxury.
This is their signature for the cheese roll spread. Raglette with Crisy Potatoes @ RM 25. You are served with a plate of crispy potato with some mushroom and cherry tomato. A minute later, a guy will bring a warm roll of Raglette and spread the top warm part into the dish.
Looks pretty awesome.
My personal verdict is, it looks cool and taste are bland. A good gimmick.
Another that we had is Pulled Beef Panini. There are hit and misses in this as the seasoning of it is too strong and slightly on the salty note. Overall it is quite a decent panini for RM 16. Believe there are still room of improvement for them.
