Love the ambiance of this place. Unfinish walls, classic colour pastel titles, mining light bulps and classic food furniture add on the feel of it. One of a unique cafe in KL.
To add onto the feel of it, they have also created classic tea. We tried Taiwanese Dong Ding Oolong & Yunnan Black Tea with osmanthus flowers & star anise @ RM16 per bottle.
In the menu, Chinese Pesto Flat Noodle attracted my attention cause it is housemade noodle, flat and packed with ulam pesto with charred capsicum, semi-dried tomato, crunchy peanut and aromatic sesame seed. Taste is pretty strong with unique twist indeed. Find that the flavour is too strong to my liking and I could not finish the plate itself.
As for the food, it might be too “modern” for me but they sure do have great ambiance. Maybe I will look forward for their upcoming bar.
Another famous cafe in Petaling Street is just right beside them- Merchant Lane.
