Crema Crema Cafe is actually a hidden gem at PJ New Town. This is not a typical place you would could think of for cafe hunting. They only started operating about 3 months ago and had gain their popularity among many office crowd here and also gaining their confidence from nearby neighborhood on weekend.
One of a popular grab away sandwich for the office workers nearby.
You can sit and take picture with this mural.
Love their menu as it is in newspaper format and very well presented and pricing is very reasonable too.
PassionFruit Lemonade @ RM 8 & Cold Press Juice of the Day @ RM 8
I have read some reviews and they are actually well known for their mains and we tried some of this. Seafood Laksa Pesto @ RM 23. Well presented and it is done to perfection. The smell of it when it was serve fills up the air and you need to squeeze the lime to get the enhancement of taste. Speghetti is al dante and sauces is well coated onto it that gives you punch of flavours. Daum Kesom and Bunga Kantan taste is well balance out and seafood paired just nice.
One of my classic favourite and they have done a great job. Carbonara Spaghetti @ RM 23. Theirs is sightly different as there are not much gravy as per compare to the typical 1 we have as this cooking method sits on between classic vs modern.
Grilled Chicken Chop @ RM 17 is one of the best seller. The twist that they have included is their special home made coffee sauce. Chicken is fried to perfection where the skin is crisp and meat is still juicy inside. Adding on the special sauce that do not give you the usual coffee over bitterness yet theirs is perfect. Slightly bitter, creamy and pairs very well with it.
Since we still have room for another dish, we ordered this Lamb Shank @ RM 32. Braised with Tomato base sauce and served with mash potates, and salad. There are hit and misses on this and have
Creama Creama Egg Benedict @ RM 24 – serve with pancake base poached egg and portobello mushroom
Ending, we hit on their Tiramisu @ RM 15. Love it and love it. It seems like the prepared this fresh with mascarpone cheese is well mix up and sponge fingers is well soak onto their special coffee mix base. In there, there are hidden chocolate chips to give you additional munchy bites.
As for tea time, now they have this pairing with a coffee. Their freshly baked cheese tart or salted egg yolk croissant.
Indeed this is a better cafe to hunt for as their mains is good. Did not get to try their coffee as they are hit with water pressure so will go again another round. My personal favourite are:
- Seafood Laksa Pesto
- Carbonara
- Grill Chicken
- Tiramisu for finishing
