Fancy with some lunch meals? Memory Makers at Traders Hotel have launch their new lunch menu that give you quite a good option.
Entering into a cozy zone where the area is filled with high glass which makes it a perfect place for a photo shoot by using natural light.
Start off with their cocktail series
Sky 33 @ RM 35 nett – filled with kiwi juice, middle with vodka on ice, cubes of vodka jelly for the added kick. Not only that, as if you have this in the afternoon, it is very refreshing with a hint of sourish end from kiwi.
Selangor Sling @ RM 48 nett. Tanqueray Gin hibiscus syrup, elder flower syrup, pineapple juice, dash of absinthe shaken and top with a roselle flower. This might be slightly too strong for me where maybe others will enjoy it.
We start off with mushroom tea @ RM 35 nett. Where the soup base is separated and being boiled for long hours to get the clarity and aroma of it. Pouring out it from the pot with a bed of mushroom making it very unique and serve with some fried mushroom serve at the side. Taste is light and aromatic.
For their mains – 3some Meat Platter (serve 2 pax) @ RM 250 nett . . . Serving you a nice beautiful cut of lamb rack, sirloin steak and spring chicken with a a bed of greens at the side.
They have also prepared their secret dressing into injection tube for you to add on the flavors on your meat. Sirloin is cook to perfection where it is medium rare and out of expectation, the spring chicken is a clear winner if to compare to the other two. It is soft, juicy, and aromatic on the effect of marination.
I guess this is the main highlight for the presented dish is their Nasi Lemak 2.0 @ RM 30 where not only Nasi Lemak is being rated as one of the healthier food in a online portal, their nasi lemak presentation is on a whole new level. Steam rice is cook along in a fresh coconut that release a very nice mixture of aroma into the rice. There are two different taste where the top of the rice, it is clear and aromatic in coconut taste, however as you dig deeper, the taste of coconut meat had change the flavour of it. Taste more like eating coconut meat grains.
Eating it with their spicy prawn sambal, anchovies and chicken rendang or ayam berempah, is one of the best way to enjoy our fresh pippin hot plate of nasi lemak.
For dessert, they serve Cherry Bomm where a sphere of white chocolate with a field of edible flowers and raspberries.poured with high temperature chocolate is being poured onto the white chocolate to allow it to melt and create a hole in it. Right inside the hole, you will be finding some other little ingredients in it.
Back to classic, they have re-created Le Bon Vivant Ice Kepal @ RM 20nett which makes it our child hood memory of this ice ball where they have also further tweak on it. As you dig deeper, you will be greeted with a huge scoop of ice cream sitting in the middle for you to dig deeper. Topped with raspberries and drenched with syrup into the shaved ice.
