In this quiet neighborhoods, you will find a hidden cafe located on the first floor with tiny entrance at the side that lead you up. Wild Sheep Chase is one of a cafe that have quite a lot of hype in Instagram. oh well, anything in instagram, my expectation would usually cut by 80%.
Nicely decorated up with hip and chic as where alot of instagramers took alot of nice shot.
Hot Earl Grey Milk Tea @ Rm 10, Earl grey tea with milk is a pretty interesting combination of flavours as it topped with a swirl of honey and sprinkle of lemon zest.
Waffle @ RM 13 Served with earl grey whipped cream and osmanthus maple syrup. Waffle is just normal, nothing to shout about as my standard for each waffle that is nice have to beat Morning Fresh (as my guideline)
Coffee latte is decent where it is slightly robust in taste yet not acidic.
Green Tea Lava Cake – as the cake is slightly overbake from the oven that make it slightly dry, and the green tea lava did not ooze out as I expected where it is slightly thick. Strong in green tea powdery taste which is not my preference and at the price, I can get something better.
Vanilla soufflé @ Rm 15 which the big hype is. Served with grapefruit sorbet and your choice of syrup – orange sauce or osmanthus maple syrup. The soufflé was slightly fluffy and airy; very fast set down as the taste is not that fantastic. Slightly mild in taste as per to compare with Franco, I think I like Franco souffle more.
It is a nice place to catch up with friends with its nice white and wood flooring along with spacious seatings.
My verdict is I prefer Franco Souffle and Softcore Molten Cake better for presentation and taste. Their Tea series is worth to try.
