Sometimes, a simple food will just make you happy. Well, recently one of my favourite outlet to hunt for is this Pelicana Chicken which is located at E-curve at level 1 which is also known as Korean No.1 Fried Chicken as in Korea they are like Starbucks, its park nearly every corner and with a total of about 2000 outlets.
After ordering, do take note to give them about 12 minutes as the chicken are being fried fresh pippin hot to serve you, its not like those typical place where is all cook and put under the heat light oven.
Menu is pretty straight forward as chicken is their main serving and other worth to try is their burger and chicken with rice. As for fried chicken they have about 5 flavours in total.
Still top in my list is their originals that serve with a pack of Korean Yellow Honey Mustard. Additional Pack cost RM 1 each – love the sauce as its not too strong, yet with a little hint of sweet end and pair with the perfect fried chicken which is moist and crispy on the outside. Its a perfect combination to my liking.
Next which is Garlic Chicken, which coated with well balance taste of very mild sesame and garlic.
Follow by Charcoal bbq with a hint of mild burnt bbq and slightly spicy end as this version is known as level 2 spiciness, as for level 3 spiciness is known as their Hot Spice, which is quite spicy for me. When it is serve pippin hot, I can only last with 2 wings and I am burnt. After it colds down, I can last at least 5. Quite spicy yet still one of my favourite as the spicy make you numb but feel good.
If you love chicken rice, this would give you a better option as Peli Chicken Rice @ RM 9.90. I definately have no complain on this with the price tag hang on it. Love their fragrant seaweed rice as I felt healthy, and slices of fried chicken serve with a fried egg.
Oh well, my colleague start to get addicted to this brand. It is best to dine there and by taking away the taste will change. Its pretty much to locate them as, coming in from e-Curve entrance, center atrium, they are located directly on level 1.
