Another trend that is picking up its pace is waffle. Not the typical Daily Fresh type of waffle but its this new kind known as Belgian Waffle that is small in size. Have its own fermentation that create a special texture, chewy and airy base.
I have not step into Mid Valley for quite a while and suprise to see this whole new section of nearby GSC Cinema had given a whole new level of upgrading works and now house a few brands. Madame Waffle is one of the brand that being house in this new zone.
Madame waffle is a Japanese style quick-service cafe serving artisan Belgian waffles, specialty coffee and green tea. The waffles are prepared using the finest ingredients imported from Japan and baked fresh daily on site.
IF you are lost of selections and they do have quite a nice dummy display at the counter which looks absolutely good.
We order one of its signature set @ RM 16 with a piece of greentea red bean waffle and a scoop of ice cream.
Order their additional classic version Ano Yaki @ RM 6.90. This original version taste totally blend and the texture is so different from green tea. We did not finish it as some of the part werent really cooked fully that left us a bit of raw flour taste.
To me, I still prefer the green tea those kind of waffle as the texture is chewy and better too.
