Although I stay nearby which is 5-10 minutes away and this neighbourhood is alien to me. There is one weekend, I was clueless on what to dine for dinner then decided to drive around this area. To my suprise there are quite alot of steamboat place that is very pack even as early as 6pm. Then after 10 minutes of moving around the area, decided to choose this dFortune Western Cuisine & Cafe Western food shop as it is already so pack at 6.30pm with people already start queuing to get a place.
This is what I mean, whereby usually a restaurant that is pack with people means the food is pretty above average, down to my perception.
For 2 person is rather easy to get a place as most people come here in a big group, either with friends or family.
Browsing thru the menu, and looking at the price, its certainly not cheap to eat in with this kind of road side ambiance.
Ordered Jumbo Honey Dew which is quite diluted . . .
Since the price is set at that price for most of their food, my expectation also increase. Mushroom soup is a let down. It taste something like campbell soup with little enhancement, that doesnt taste any better. Well, I only finish half of it.
Aglio Alio you get to choose original or Spicy and we decided to go for Spicy since this is the first time I heard got this version.
Cook along with chilli padi to enhance on the spiciness and the portion is pretty generous, that cook along with lots of lala. Taste is average with slightly spicy and its more towards salty end.
I ordered Chicken Gorden Bleu.
The look is perfect with cheeze oozing out that is how it is suppose to be. Crust is slightly thick and cheese is slightly tasteless. Gravy comes in two different colour whereby another layer is oil and gravy is very mild in taste. Overall, I have had much better Gorden Bleu than this. To me, Murni beats this shop anytime.
Well, by reading back some of what other bloggers did wrote about this place as it was a great place to dine on 2010 and 2012, since then the quality had drop. To me, its very overrated and for 2 pax with total bill about RM50 I can get better food. One thing I see which is, to run a business your food need not to be good. Just enough to keep the buzz running and it will set sail like this outlet.
In Klang valley is pretty hard to find nice and cheap kopitiam style western food. If you do come across any do let me know.

People are so excited over western food, like James Foo and CAB in Penang, foods are over-rated either but the queue seems to be there everyday =.=”
